Ph.D. Student, Soil Science Department, University of Wisconsin-Madison
I’m an international student from Uganda. I obtained my master’s degree in Soil and Water Sciences from the University of Florida and my Bachelor’s degree from EARTH University, Costa Rica.
My research focuses on land manure application and management practices to optimize manure nitrogen, nitrogen use efficiency and improve crop productivity while minimizing potential losses that could jeopardize the existence of several ecological systems and pose significant threats to water quality. Additionally, I investigate the trade-offs between reducing ammonia volatilization and the effect on nitrate leaching, and greenhouse gas emissions within an agricultural production system.
