Jessica has supported research across a wide variety of ecological topics and systems, including projects at the Chicago Botanic Garden, The Field Museum, and the UW-Arboretum. Her research interests include the interaction between aboveground and belowground systems, maintenance of ecosystem function, and science communication. is a Research Specialist for the Ruark Lab, where she manages field and lab research. She has an M.S. in Plant Biology and Conservation from Northwestern University.
