Claire Campbell
Claire Campbell joined the Ruark lab in 2013 as a MS student in Soil Science and Agroecology. She will be conducting research as a member of the Dairy Coordinated Agriculture Project team monitoring soil-greenhouse gas interactions related to manure applications. She attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina where she studied Earth and Environmental Sciences. She first became interested in agriculture systems during a year long study with local grass-fed beef farms in the Upstate of South Carolina. When she isn’t at work, Claire, a native of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, enjoys backpacking, eating plenty of Wisconsin’s finest cheese, and woodworking.
